Fuzzy Critters

Game Design

Tasks: Feature design, documentation, live metrics analysis

I was brought on to work on Fuzzy Critters about one year into its development, right before the game entered soft launch. My responsibilities primarily centered around improving KPI performance based upon analysis of live MixPanel metrics. In collaboration with our other designer, I generated and maintained game documentation for key features and redesigns of older, obsolete features. Some of my key contributions included: A complete overhaul of the first-time-user-experience, creation of a new game mode, hundreds of new level designs, a UI/UX facelift for the multiplayer experience, and several innovative multiplayer features.  The culmination of these features, coupled with game balance adjustments based upon live data from soft launch, resulted in double-digit increases in the game's 1-day and 7-day retention metrics when it entered global launch.
