Tasks: Quality Assurance testing, level design oversight
Working with our producer and engineer, I was tasked with mastering the game mechanics and ensuring the first three levels of the game were tight and bug-free. I was able to identify over 30 physics bugs, design flaws, and exploits within the levels. Additionally, I was given license to provide input on the flow of the level and overall design, of which some changes were enacted after I communicated these suggestions to our level designer. For example, one of our logic gate puzzles in the first level could actually leave the player trapped, so the puzzle was adjusted in order for that not to occur.
